Ohio will open records for those placed for adoption!

This Friday, March 20th 2015, will be a life changing event for many that were placed for adoption between January 1964 and September 1996.  Over 400, 000 records will be opened that were previously sealed.  Birth parents that placed during this time period will have until Thursday to file to have their their names redacted from the records.  This will allow those that were adopted during this time to hopefully have access to medical history and their biological family names.  You can read more about this on the Pittsburg-Post Gazette in an more extensive article.
